I just got the Canon 40D w/ the 17-85mm IS USM kit lens. I am going to be really active because spring officially starts in 2 days!

February 13th, 2009 will mark a sad day for me because I lost my Canon Rebel XTi with a lot of equipment (The camera itself w/ kit lens, HiTech Grad Filter, 50mm f1.8, Cokin Grad filter) All I can say is, do not take expensive equipment to a crowded party. Good news is that I am not going to stop photography but become more active than ever! I plan on buying the Canon Rebel XSi in the coming week.

I haven't been uploading as many pictures now because of two things; I am a call of duty 2 addict again and I have been studying pretty hard for the two courses I am taking in private school. I know that hardly anyone cares about my journals but I still posted for the hell of it . Its like talking to myself

Anyways summer is finally over and all the leaves are falling so I will be going out soon for a photoshoot soon

My new website has been under construction for quite a long time now. Finally today me and my friend wrapped it up and it is now complete.

New Lens

I've been dying to get the 50mm f/1.8 II for a while now. Today I asked my dad and he said he would buy me one So I just went and got one instantly since I live close to many photo shops.

I have to say that this lens is amazing for the price. It is SHARP! The depth of field is nice and shallow for portraits. People were complaining about the bookeh but to be honest it is not bad at all.

Now I have to find a friend who is willing to pose for some kick ass portraits
